I just read this a week ago or so. It wasnt as great as the previous ones. Yet it wasnt a write off either. It did set the book up for more to come with the series.
I agree with you, it wasn't the best one in the series. But it does leave off for more books to come. I don't know if it is a good or bad thing that Ever seems to act on impulse. She also doesn't seem to trust anyone either.
