Contest Craze Mini Challenge #1 Entry

Hey Everyone, did you know that Princess Bookie's Contest Craze kicks off tomorrow? Well today is the day of the first mini challenge. All you have to do is post your top 5 books for 2011. I know that its really hard to choose just 5! Also sorry, I tried providing all the pictures but something keeps going wrong when I try to post more than one picture in this post. Right now I'm all for debut authors, but there is one book that is not a from a debut author of 2011.

Here are my top five in no particular order:

Where She Went by Gayle Forman
Where She Went
I LOVED If I Stay. After I read the book I keep thinking about how it would be like if we knew Adam's side of the story. Now I get my wish! I can't wait to read Adam's POV even if it is set 3 years later.

Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
I can't help myself anything that has to do with angels grabs ahold of me. The premise seems intriguing and the cover is gorgeous.

Shattered Souls by Mary Lindsey
If you read the description for this book you'll want to read it too! I'm a sucker for forbidden love stories, especially if they involve paranormal things.

Wither by Lauren DeStefano
Can I say beautiful cover? The synopsis of this book seems so different than anything I'm used to in the YA section. It's labeled as dystopian so I'm very curious to see what this book is all about.

Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Outer space, mystery, secrets, and love. What's not to like. This book seems to have it all and can attract a wide variety of readers. Plus need I say another pretty cover?

Wow, this was a tough challenge. I still can't choose just to so let me just say one more thing.
Anything from HarperTeen/HarperCollins. Well besides vampire books, they have all the books I'm looking forward to reading. Oh and Penguin books. I love so many publishers!
Well, yeah I could totally keep this list going on and on. :)

Now see I hadn't heard of the first one there, but when I saw the cover, I instantly thought of If I Stay...nice choice! Wither is another one on my radar. Gotta love your close though..."anything from HarperTeen..." They definitely have some great titles...happy reading!
